Introduction:
Store Department headed by Store Keeper plays the role of centralized inventory under the supervision of Executive Officer. This department is responsible to receive & issue all items procured by the municipality. The major activities of Store Department are as follows -
- Receive all items procured by the Municipality through purchase order.
- Issuing of Stock entry certificate.
- Issues item to different departments as per their requisite requisition.
- Maintaining central stock & stock entry or issue related registers of the municipality.
- Tally physical and computerized stock on regular basis in presence of Executive Officer.
